DemPulse 2026: Spain
Across 2026, DemPulse works with civil society organisations in Spain to track how democratic and anti-democratic narratives are shaping public life online, and to translate that research into practical, data-driven communications.
Our work in Spain runs across three strands. Ideation Spaces bring participating organisations together to transform our digital and public opinion research into strategic action. Insights Presentations set out the research findings for Poland in a clear, shareable form. Focus Groups test messaging with pro-democracy supporters and persuadable audiences across the country.
This page holds the timeline and registration for the Ideation Sessions, each Insights Presentation as it is published, the Spain Focus Group schedule, and details on contributing materials for Focus Group testing.t.
Ideation Sessions
Timeline of Ideation sessions in Spain
Across the year we will be holding 15 Ideation Sessions. Spain has three dedicated sessions, all held online with AI-supported interpretation available in Spanish.
Who Can Register? If your organisation does pro-democratic work in Spain, we'd like to hear from you! That includes democracy and civic rights, gender, equality and inclusion, migration and anti-racism, economic justice, and climate advocacy. The Ideation spaces are ideal for colleagues working in communications, strategy or advocacy. We welcome up to two participants per organisation. Focus groups
In Spain we have successfully run our focus groups across two audiences. Each audience is split into separate groups for men and women. The audiences are Base, core supporters of democratic standards, and Persuadable, citizens who are open to democratic arguments but not firmly committed. Focus Group analysis will be delivered to CSO’s in the form ofpractical strategic meeting breifs.
